About

Born in Rome in 1996, I have been drawn to photography from an early age, beginning to shoot in my teenage years. My first reflex camera marked the start of a committed practice, which led me to study documentary photography at Officine Fotografiche, one of Rome’s foremost photography schools. There, I developed a documentary and observational approach, focusing on everyday life, public space, and the interaction between people and their environments. My early work includes documenting events and social movements across Italy, from the Dalai Lama’s visit to anti-Expo demonstrations in Milan, capturing unposed moments with attention to gesture, presence, and atmosphere.
Following several years working in the humanitarian sector across complex crisis contexts, I returned to photography with renewed focus. This experience continues to inform my perspective, particularly around themes of labor, social struggles, and lived experience.
Now based in Geneva, Switzerland, I work mainly on film, developing and printing my work myself in the darkroom, and focusing on long-term documentary projects that explore human behavior and social environments. I am an active member of the Zebralab association, a collective space dedicated to
film photography and darkroom printing.
